Steps

  1. Design the enclosure in CAD and generate a flat pattern with bend allowances.
  2. Print the flat pattern and mark it on the aluminum sheet.
  3. Cut with aviation snips and deburr every edge.
  4. Bend the flanges on the bending brake in the right order.
  5. Rivet the enclosure together and measure final dimensions against your design.
  6. Document tolerance results and lessons learned for your portfolio.
