Steps

  1. Build a mini conveyor line with 2 or 3 stations.
  2. Add IR sensors to count parts and time each station.
  3. Program the Arduino to log cycle time and throughput.
  4. Identify the bottleneck station from your data.
  5. Improve the bottleneck and measure throughput again.
  6. Chart before and after results and document them for your portfolio.
