Steps

  1. Plan the network layout with 2 sensor nodes and 1 gateway.
  2. Build each sensor node with an ESP32, NRF24L01 radio, and temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors.
  3. Program the nodes to send readings to the gateway on a set interval.
  4. Program the gateway to collect all readings and push them to a free cloud dashboard.
  5. Test range and packet loss by moving nodes farther apart.
  6. Screenshot the dashboard and document the network design for your portfolio.
