Steps

  1. Design the plotter frame and X-Y motion system in CAD.
  2. Assemble the frame, linear rails, and stepper motors.
  3. Wire the steppers, drivers, CNC shield, and servo pen lift to the Arduino.
  4. Flash GRBL firmware and calibrate steps per millimeter.
  5. Generate G-code from your own designs and plot them.
  6. Film it drawing and document the build for your portfolio.
